Midoki is a fresh, new games studio based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, the heart of the English countryside.

Founded by a small 4 man team of experienced game developers, we're looking to focus on the creation of ground-breaking, socially-connected games that will deliver rich entertaining experiences to the mobile space.

Bringing our passion and wealth of experience from the many many years of dedicated service to the gaming industry we decided it was time to make a go of it on our own.

In collaboration with eeGeo, we have spent the last few months working closely together to develop an amazing 3D city building technology; an engine and pipeline that allows us to create and display a living, breathing representation of real world cities in utmost accuracy and beauty. Initially running on every iOS platform from iPad1 and iPhone 3GS onwards with no loss of fidelity. Other Platforms won't be far behind!

'Recce' is the first app to use this new tech. Available on the Apple App Store right now, we believe it fully demonstrates the exciting potential for what we have created. 'Recce' is the perfect, fun and entertaining guide to the city of London; a colourful 3D world full of information and sights, it gives you a wealth of knowledge for any potential visit. And with the Olympics and Jubilee celebrations, what better time to visit.

Making full use of the device's GPS system, you can find exciting places and events close by, plan routes to destinations, send tweets about anything and everything and also get a quick and informative overview of what's going on in London.
